On The Way
(Insert clever web image here, not enough time to find one today)
I thought I would use the increased traffic on the blog as an opportunity to announce that Jennifer is pregnant again. We just found out, and could not be more excited. Andrew's name is already represented in our family forever, down payments will now be accepted for all others wishing to become a namesake in the Jones house.

Easy Rider
I decided it was time to learn to ride a motorcycle, so I took the rider course, got my license, and got this bike. Am I going to be the only one riding a motorcycle to WOM? Who's with me? Think how cool 9 of us would look on I40.

I know it's lame but...
I can't quit listening to the Casey Anthony trial. They have the courtroom feed streaming live all day everyday.

The Other Dancing Outlaws
Just started watching The Wonderful and Wild Whites of West Virginia streaming on Netflix. It's basically the sequel to Dancing Outlaw. So far it looks promising and you get Jesco 20 years later.
That is one F'd up family!!!

So about that new map that Kevin made.....
You know that cool map that Kevin made with the Aaron's new location... well that might need to change. Next week I'm moving to San Deigo (founded by the German's) to take a new job with NuVasive. Working in Supply Chain with our Cervical products. ACDF products and Cortical Cancellous bonegraft (I'm gonna guess that only Aaron knows what that means).
It's a good opportunity and I'm in a position to make a move like this. I'm about 10% excited. The other 90% I feel like I'm going to throwup. Those percentages will gradually change as I get out there, get settled, and get working. Your prayers are definitely appreciated. I can once again say that as the stressful, uncertain times come into my life I lean on God more and more. I wish I always had as much focus and trust.
If you need a place to stay I probably can't help. It costs something like $1,700 a month for a 200 square foot apartment out there so I won't have the room. My cost of living calculations might be a little off, but it aint cheap out there. (Mental note, stop saying "aint" and replace with "tubular" or "brah")
That's my news. Hope everyone is doing well! Go Padres!

Forget Bastard Children Blogs
I started to update my spinoff blog but I decided I just wanted to let you guys know what was going on with me on The Original.
Jenny and I have been out here in LA 11 months now and our time is coming to an end. The time has come where my training is complete and I'm finally going to get a real job. In August I will be returning to Columbia, Mo. to work in the family medicine and orthopedic departments at Mizzou. The job is everything I was hoping for in my first job out of fellowship. I will be able to teach residents and medical students. I also wanted to continue to have a family medicine practice and I'll have 4 family medicine and 4 sports medicine clinics each week. I will also be working with the Univ. of Missouri athletes in some fashion but I don't know specific details at this point.
New orthopedic offices where I will have my sports medicine clinics.
Jenny and I are both excited to be closer to our families. Jenny's dad is doing very well with his battle against cancer. His blood tests and CT scans have been free of cancer. Today was actually his birthday and every special day is a big milestone. My brother and his wife had a beautiful baby girl 2 months ago and Jenny and I are excited to have a little niece. I never would have guessed it but Alex has become a frequent blogger and updates their site with lots of pictures.
Now some random things...
What I'm watching - Dexter Season 3. We had heard about Dexter from different people over the past few years but finally gave it a chance on Netflix. We streamed the first 2 seasons and now are almost done with season 3. It's gruesome but clever.
What I'm drinking - Moscow Mule. Jenny and I stumbled upon this drink last year and we've loved them in the summertime ever since. We like to modify the original recipe and use ginger ale instead of ginger bear.
What sports team I'm into - Sporting Kansas City. If you follow me on Twitter you know I've been tweeting quite a bit about soccer. I played quite a bit of soccer growing up but stopped around 13 or 14 when it got to be too busy. After the World Cup in 2006 I really started following it again but I've never been into the MLS. This year it has changed with Kansas City undergoing a rebranding (used to be the Wiz then the Wizards) and opening a new stadium. I love that you can follow almost all the players on Twitter and you feel like you actually know the guys on more of a personal level.
I hope to see you guys this summer when Jenny and I head down to Tennessee. It will probably be in early to mid-August and I'll let you guys know when we get closer.

Rules have been set
I received a letter yesterday! It has laid down the rules for taking care of the cabin. The rules are as follows:
- Do not put coffee grounds in the disposal
- Do not pour grease over the railing on the deck. Go off the deck and pour grease in the side or back yard. Last year the got all over the down stairs rail and it was difficult to clean up.
- The TV remote instructions are written by the remote.
- Do not use the 2 sofas as beds. Use downstairs beds if needed.
- Do not use the dishwasher. Tea towels are in a kitchen drawer, for drying dishes.
Let us all remember to clean well men! I was thinking we could all chip in a 5 spot to buy Nonnie some flowers. Just to stay on her good side.
As you can see the beard is growing, be ready.

WOMVII Meal Post
Are we going to get a food plan ready or are we going to hunt and eat turtles from the river? I'm good either way. I say since Justin is the commish this year, he assigns food duties.
I don't know what this picture is, but I thought it struck me funny.

Tires and Fires (Kick'em and Light'em)
Seeing as how our proposed date (Mar 11-13) for WOMVII is about 3 weeks away, perhaps we should solidify plans for that.
My only hope is that the dearth in blog traffic and the general malaise in excitement for this year is our individual suppression of emotion that will erupt in a deluge of primeval screams and beastly facial hair leaving all in its wake dumbfounded if not more manly.
First, we need to find out where we are going. Adam--have you been in contact with PawPaw? I know you have a baby and all, but maybe you can use Junior as leverage in getting the old man's permission. I'm sorry that so much depends on you, but it's all we got (for free).
Second, but just as important (although contingent on Adam's answer), is March 11-13 still good for everyone. Seeing as how I am the furthest away (save Aaron), we are going to be in town that week before anyway (they give us a week off for Mardi Gras down here), so it works best for me.
Third, after Adam answers number 1--let's get a roll call of who all is in and then we can plan meals accordingly.
Fourth, I love you.

Lebo's Loonies
Tennessee Tech upset Austin Peay tonight at the Hoop. I started looking around on the internet for Lebo's Loonies links and pics and didn't find too much. I wondered if any of you guys had any extra pictures from games or trips. I'd love to get them all scanned in a on a web album. I don't know if there is any kind of loonie section now.
I did find this Facebook Group for TTU Loonies, but unfortunately it has no members.
I remember at some point when I was moving last summer I came across one of our old fan information sheets that I used to print up with all the players information. Probably my favorite of all time was, "Do it for Dorthea!"
We also have had many impostors across the Southeast. I guess imitation is the greatest form of flattery.
UT-Chattanooga
Auburn - Jeesh...this one was almost obvious trademark infringement. Damn, we should have gotten a sponsor like this for our shirts who would've given us deals on food.
I'm also proud to say that this googleing "lebo's loonies" now brings you to our blog.

Numnuts! Nunley is 30!
Happy Birthday Adam!
Searching "the Nunley" brought up some interesting things today.
Have you ever been to Nunley Ranch? It's in Pelham, TN and I'm surprised you don't already have a t-shirt from there.
I also left you a little surprise on wikipedia wikipedia.

_____ Anniversary of Citico Creek
I can't remember how many years ago we ventured to the Tennessee-North Carolina wilderness to the land of the bad black bears, but every MLK day I think back to Landon reading "I have a dream..."
The 2nd post ever on The Men of EDNA was actually about the Return to Citico.
Does anyone have online pictures for the First Citico Creek adventure?
