Best of luck to the Columbia Central High School football team Friday night as they step onto the Tennessee Tech football field for the state championship game against Beech. Looks like they will prove once again that Columbia is better than Hendersonville.

God luck to Columbia, but I saw them play earlier in the playoffs and they did not look like a state champion team to me. However, with the new reclassification the 5A playoff bracket had 32 teams in it and 13 of those teams did not even have a winning record. One team (Sparta Warriors) had a record of 1-9 and made the playoffs. Two of the teams columbia played had a regular season record of 3-7. I hope they win, but this years bracket makes me wish I was still coaching at Cleveland (and playing in tonight's game).
