Organ removal seems to be the soup du jour here on the blog.
They found a cancerous tumor in my dad's kidney this week. He'll be having the tumor and his kidney removed next Thursday. The prognosis is pretty good and they think the cancer is contained within the kidney and he won't have to do chemo or radiation.
Laura and I will be heading up that way on Wednesday afternoon. If anyone wants to come hang out Thursday or Friday at Baptist Hospital downtown, maybe we can hang out.

Andrew, thanks for letting us know. This type of situation is very close to our hearts because of all we went through with Jennifer's Dad. We will be praying for you and your family, keep us updated.

Andrew, I heard that they were also running some tests for a spot on his spine. Is that true? Any results from that?
