Dirty Santa

So, I promised a post with Andrew as the center piece and here it is. Andrew, as I start, feel free to correct any grammatical errors. I went to a Dirty Santa party not too long ago and came away with a great gift. Last year I gave a senior picture of myself. Andrew, without knowing I was doing that, gave an autographed picture of himself.
This year I took an autographed picture of Chuck Norris. I came home with a $10 Starbucks gift card and the picture below. Andrew, know this: I stole it and it was not because of the gift card. Just know that you are extremely missed from the Nunley household.

Hendersonville's loss is the Greater Memphis area's gain.

Its not fair. I want an autographed picture of Andrew too!

Adam, you hang on to that picture. It'll be worth the paper it's printed on in a few years.

Justin, $20 dollars and $4.95 shipping/handling and it's yours.

Back to Adam, I miss you too, buddy. This will soon be rectified.

Ross, it's been too long since I've seen you. Do you and Alexis want to come for dinner tomorrow (Tuesday) night? Get back to me.

Ross, your wife just quasi-accepted the aforementioned invitation pending approval from you, her husband. You have her trained so well. Kudos.

Andrew, some thoughts:

1. We are in for dinner tonight. I'll pass that along to Lex. Maybe you and her could talk about when and where. Those talks seem to work better face to face.

2. We just got your Christmas card. We appreciated the shoutout.

3. I just checked out the blog you and Laura started on October 25 of this year. There has not been another post since. I feel it is being underutilized.

I just commented on the aforementioned Stacy blog.

Are there any other mystery blogs out there?

Andrew,
This secret has left me feeling alone.

Andrew said...

Ross,

1. Our place @ 6:30.

2. You're welcome. Thanks for gift card. Now I can get Laura a Christmas present.

3. Thanks for outing the blog. Now I feel pressured to do something with it.

Justin,

The Stacy Blog (modeled after the Lipscomb Times) was my wife's idea and admittedly I was not behind it. But now that it has been made public, I'll see what I can do.

I wasn't purposefully "hiding" our blog; I was purposefully "not participating" in it.

RD said...

Andrew,

1. OK, sounds like a plan.

2. Welcome.

3. Sorry for outing you. I just clicked your name and it showed two associated blogs. One I was familiar with, the other I wasn't, but strangley attracted to.

Adam, I trust that that picture will be prominently displayed in your classroom (if you have one) next year.

Or at the coffee house/counseling center/football & golf training center....for kids who can't read too good.

you could call that place:

Illiteritouchdownputtsharecryjava to encompass everything you can get there.

Just an idea. I'm not sure how that would look on a billboard though.

I like it Ross! I think I could make some cool t-shirts. I think I would drop java though because it makes me think of Jehovah Java. Andrew your card a letter made me laugh so I assume I got the funny one. My wife thought you toned it down a little and it wasn't as funny as you can be and are most of the time.

By the way my current job still makes me very unmotivate in life and like I have no chance of winning. Long live the education system.

Ross, I would like a giftcard as well. Only because I envy you and your gain of Andrew.

JD, We need to realize that we might not always live this close. We should take advantage of it. Sorry I can't give you the picture it means to much. But if you come over you can touch it.

Aaron, I still need your address. We want to send you a picture of our family. So it can stay on your fridge for a short period and then end up put away or in the trash. I am calling you the next time I am in St. Louis.

Kevin, Hello and thanks for saying good bye at church.

Seth, I hope to see you if you come this way. Long live the Warrior.

Landon, I think you know how much I trust you seeing that you have access to a lot of info about me. You are a good man. By the way Landon at a wedding this past weekend I did your dance moves.

B, You never read this but I still love to see you dance.

Nunley, I hope to see you soon also. I am the Frshman head coach at Cleveland now, and I need some help. I love teaching here and I look forward to the start of the next semester as soon as one semester ends. I will send you some info on the housing market. We also have history positions open, and a black population that would suit your social needs better than Hendersonville. Come to Cleveland, the land you can cleve to.

Are you moving Nunley?

what nice facial hair he has..

JDL said...

I was looking at him a few weeks back. Mike pointed out that he is a Chad Johnson doppleganger.

I wonder if he is as difficult to understand in Turkish as he is in English.

MJS said...

He looks like a child molester from the 70's.

JDL said...

Mike,
That's a bit much. Save that for the Beef and Steak blog.

JDL said...

Nunley, I edited the post to the best of my ability. I am no English teacher, so it may need more work. WWSD?

JDL said...

Andrew,
I have added your blog to the "Our Friends" section of "The Lipscomb Times"

Don't let my readers down.
