Vacation

Men, I'll be in Columbia Friday - Sunday, Georgia Monday - Wednesday, and back in Nashville on Wednesday night. We'll be doing wedding stuff during the day, but we need to get together over the break. Lets make it happen. Ross, try not to make Skipper D cry too much.

Hoops, the Hoop, and Lee Wray

Tech is playing down in the San Juan Shootout the last couple of days down in Puerto Rico. They beat Northwestern in the first round but got beat yesterday by Vandy. I guess it was just too much brain power to compete against in two consecutive days. They are currently playing Central Florida in the third place game. I am being a dork and listening to the game on Tech's radio feed. Any of you guys seen any games this year??? If they make it to the OVC championship I will be there and I expect to see you all there wearing you Loonie gear as well.

I miss the days of old going to the Hoop and maning the corner down by the visitors bench. We verbally abused the opposing team but the great part was that it was not vulgar - an intellectual taunt hurts much more. I can't believe that we convinced Lee Wray to rent those white vans for the Loonie road trips. They even payed for gas... awesome!!! One of my greatest moments was driving back from Louisville with Andrew in the front and Squeek and the Gravedigger in the backseat. Squeek and Gravely were conversating like I had never heard them talk before. From politics to sports to who knows what else they chatted and chatted while Andrew and I just sat quietly driving. I hoped that they might be roommates someday although I think that never happened.

Return to Citico Creek

Little did we know that this peaceful little campsite would turn into the longest night of our lives. I have so many vivid memories of this place. I remember not being able to start a fire until the bacon grease started melting. The temperature was 15 on my thermometer. Definitely the coldest night of my life. B was so pissed for such a long time. He had the most horrible faces. Didn't we sleep 4 or 5 across with somebody (Doug I think) sleeping perpendicular at our heads. Waking up that next morning was one of the greatest moments of my life...

Intro

Okay guys... after watching all of our emails being sent back and forth I realized that their had to be a more efficient, more visually enjoyable way to do this. I think this is it. We can all have posting privilages and we can post what ever we want. We can link to webpages, audio, video, etc. I think this will be much more enjoyable then the masses of emails that we send to each other. And if some of you still prefer email I think you can get it to set up an RSS feed (i don't know exactly what that means or how it works but I think that our resident IT director could do a little online workshop to inform us)
