Are any of you using Google's Chrome browser? I thought it may not be that great, but I'm really impressed with it. It is fast, simple, and it isn't as much of a beast for your computer to run like Firefox and IE have become.
My only problem so far has been that it tends to hang when streaming video. Other than for that, it is my new weapon of choice for surfing.
You can try it here.

I am using it at home, and I do like it. We are on a 5 or 6 year old desktop at home and its still pretty fast for checking e-mail. I think the more I play with it, the more I will like it.
I just want to be on Google's goodside when they take over the earth.
I can't wait to see their operating system.
I have noticed the streaming video problem as well.
You should take a loan out and get a new computer.
I'm enjoying it also - seems to load pages faster and start up quicker than Firefox. I like the "most visited" choices when you open a new tab also.
Andrew,
Leave comments like that on my blog, don't bog down this blog with your crazy theories.
Mike/Kev,
I also like having my gmail inbox as a desktop shortcut, as it loads faster.
Kev, are you watching the apple coverage today?
i'm watching it here
I was watching on Engadget. The new Nano looks pretty cool. I think I'm going to hold out still though for an iPhone when my Verizon contract is up. Nunley, don't you have one? Is it worth it?
currently using chrome and loving it. amazed at how fast it is compared to bulky explorer. I also like the little text on the blog comments.
windows question: is there a shortcut to get to your desktop? i hate having to minimize all my windows
I haven't tried using Chrome yet. I bet it's hacker awesome though. I've been using Firefox Light on by Mac, but Vista on my PC. I've encountered numerous bugs with both systems and tried to backfile several jpgs, mp3s, docs, and pdfs.
I've found using the syntax and cryptex of normal component systems and therefore encyrpting both the poly and monologue variables my system runs much smoother.

While my current seach engine algorithm is totally wicked, my beta version of Excel pro is somewhat lacking. I'd like to do a double piggyback on my main router and juxtapose my sever configuratons to maximize bandwidth.
Thoughts?
Doc, hit the little "Windows Key" + "D" will minimize all windows. Hit it again to bring them all back to where they were.
Ross, I don't see a problem with it.
Doc,
You can also turn on quick launch to have a "show desktop" button by the start menu. same concept as kev's.
I have Rocketdock running and have a "show desktop" button on the dock (a la Mac) and that way you really don't have to go back to your desktop to open other programs or look up files. Just a thought.
Kev,
what are you running?
XP, we just ordered 80 desktops from your former employer specifically asking them to downgrade from Vista to XP for us.
How is Jimmy Salsa?
