It is a go! The Eagle has landed. I just got the call about Man's Weekend and it was cleared for President's Day weekend. Kevin not the actual President's day, but February 15-17. I am going to check with a t-shirt designer I know and see if I can't get a t-shirt printed. What were the ideas? And how much do you guys think would be a good price? Man's Weekend Lives!

I would say $15-20 is a decent price for a quality shirt.

You're right, Nunley. I apologize for my negativity. I'm just discouraged by the lack of hype/Dr. Gray not being able to come/I'm getting furniture so I'm not coming/I'm moving 3 weeks before Man's Weekend so I don't want to come, etc, etc....
I think I'll take all this negativity and bottle it up and use it to dominate the Manlympics.
1. Who's bringing Guitar Hero?
2. Do we have a definitive answer from Dr. Gray?
3. I'm all for a t-shirt and would be willing to pay $15-20 for a quality shirt (quality is key here, I don't want some crappy thing that will shrink and fade.)

Adam, when you get your PS3, can I have your XBOX, to keep the tradition of you handing down obsolete gaming systems to me.
Unfortunately the doc will be admitting pts at the hospital all day and night on Feb 16th. I will be sure to be extra manly that weekend and will definitely have a good beard going even if it is close to V-day. My "golden weekend" where we get the whole weekend off those 4 weeks is March 2nd and 3rd.
This year just sucks for me...actually residency sucks and I dream of the day where I will get weekends off. Oh well the day will sometime come...until then, I just have to get lucky.
Wait, so would you be able to do Man's Weekend if it was Feb. 29-March 2 (Friday-Sunday)?

Seth, I hope you can bend the rules about not doing anything in March. The weekend technically starts in February. Think about it.
Also, please keep this in mind the year Landon came to Man's Weekend and Kandince gave birth the very next weekend. Close call you say? I say the steady, unshakeable will of the Almighty. I truly believe the good Lord up in Heaven would not allow your child to be born when you are axe throwing or messing with cameras around camp fires. He knows how important it is to all of us. Now is the time for faith, pure unbridled fath.

If we don't do it on the weekend of Feb 29 - March 2, I think it would be an injustice to all Man's Weekends. Malcolm's birthday is March 1, does that matter, kinda of, but he'll have to get over it. Aaron, clearly needs a Man's Weekend, let's give it to him.
Aaron, Laura has instructed that I inquire about Jenny's thoughts of you leaving on the only weekend you have off in forever.
Aaron, Laura brings up a good point. I know you would love to be there, but you are saving lives on a daily basis and I'm not sure an eight hour drive both ways would be the best way to spend the one free weekend you have.
I am waiting for a solution before I make the call so once we have a full count of the vote I can make the call. Men, I can't wait for Man's Weekend (to see the the men who make up Man's weekend) and to see the Golden Duke. Justin you are a lucky man. But this year your luck has run out.

I believe Justin has set the rules up so that the previous year's winner cannot win the Duke. Communistic? Maybe.

If Aaron can't do it Feb. 29-March 2, I say we move it back to President's Day Weekend.
For this year's games it will be that way. Next year (provided there is one) the winner and Games Marshall will decide when they create the games.
Either one of those two weekends is fine by me.

I need you to update your blog. You have it, now you have to use it.
Men, I am sorry I have not been active in this discussion. I want to be at man's weekend so bad it hurts. However, I do not think I could drive 6+ hours within three weeks of my wife's due date. But if Aaron could be there, then I would sacrifice my men's weekend for him to be able to go. It is only right. Let's be honest. My stint at EDNA's House was a month of sharing Adam's bed one cold December. I count it a blessing that you all include me in this weekend. I have about as much right to be there as Mark Lamb, but you all consiter me one of you (or you do a great job faking it, and if so, keep it up). I want to be there. But please make your decision and then I will see if my wife's due date allignes favorably. Kevin, see if you can work on a live webcast of all man's weekend events for those who do not attend.
Alright...the Doc has talked to the CEO of the house (thanks, laura) and she has agreed to drive down to Memphis with me for the weekend. So if we can do it on Feb. 29th-March 2nd than I am in. I will be arriving late friday night but a good 36 hours at MW4 will be worth it.
Seth - I do feel really bad if you can't go. Just tell your wife to drink lots of water...and lay around on the couch all weekend while you are gone and she should be fine. Although once you have had one baby the other ones do tend to slip out pretty fast. I sure hope you can make it some how.
All - I can't wait to see you guys. After watching the new American Gladiators I am even further inspired to begin my training for the Manolympics. I do hope that we can incorporate some games like Joust and others into our competition. From here on out please refer to me by my stage name, Titan.
