Line in the Sand....

When and where is Man's Weekend V? I am putting a moratorium on any further posts until we resolve this issue.

Let the negotiations begin.

  1. Way to be tough Andrew. I think the picture of that bear should be on the T-Shirts this year. It's awesome.

The first two weekends in March work for me.

  2. Adam, did you talk to Pappaw over the break? What's the word on cabin availability?

    ReplyDelete
  3. I'm going to take this a step further and say, "which of the first two weekends in March is WOMV?" See Andrew, the more options a person has, the more likely they are to not pick ANY option.

I refer you to this study: here

  4. And by the way, WOMV must take place in America.

  5. In a previous comment, Adam said he can't do the 1st weekend in March.

How are we defining the 1st two weekends in March?
    Friday, Feb. 27-Sun. Mar. 1
    Friday, Mar. 6-Sun. Mar. 8
    Friday, Mar. 13-Sun. Mar. 15

  6. Incidentally, if the 1st weekend is Feb 27-Mar 1, I can't do that. I can do the other two (which might be the 1st two, if that's how your looking at it. My head hurts.)

  7. I can only do March 13 - 15 sorry to box everyone in but that will be it. I have nothing that is set in stone about the cabin yet. if we get a date I can probably have it cleared with the Grandparents. I will continue to work on that .

  8. i also can't do Feb. 27th - Mar. 1, bur I guess that weekend was already axed due to the previous comments. Either of the other 2 weekends work for me though.

How much was Cabin 8 again? I can't remember but I enjoyed that place. No guns, but its like going home, back to where it all started.

  10. I move to call a vote. All in favor of having WOMV during the second second weekend in March (Friday, Mar. 13-Sun. Mar. 15 ) being the say "I". All those opposed say "Nay".

I wanted to punch Dan Dierdorff in the face every time he said something Saturday during the game.

    anyone else?

    ReplyDelete
  16. I did. He was interrupting my Command & Conquer game.

  17. Totally agree. I'm not that animated but on Saturday I threw a lot of pillows and yelled, "SHUTUP DAN" at the tv. If I ever see him or Ed Reed someone is getting the Big B.

  18. I'm in. I just need to find someone to cover catching babies for me that saturday.

  19. Listen Aaron, those of us who have kids know the nurses do all the work in labor and delivery (along with the mother). When we had Jacob our doctor would walk in drinking a Dr. Pepper and ask how close we were until it was time to "catch". With Andrew, I am pretty sure the doctor was fast asleep somewhere all night until it was birth time.

  20. I've always thought that my dad looks like Dan Dierdorff.

So we have the date settled. Adam is supposed to call/e-mail pawpaw this week about the cabin. He doesn't think the cabin will be ready. Other arrangements may need to be on the ready.

  21. Well, since the moratorium on posting is still in effect until we work out the "where" of WOMV, let's play a game.

The lyric game: I'll start us out with a line from a song. The next post must contain a word from the previously posted lyric. You can't pick words like "the" "a" "is" etc, etc. Also include source of lyric. I'll start:

"Look at the stars, see how they shine for you." ~Coldplay

looks like the cabin will not be ready. He says we are welcome to use after but it will not be done by March. So some one needs to call about Cabin 8. If not I have another cabin we may be able to use. Close to the same place. Andrew that would be Russ' parents cabin.

Adam, could we really use Russ' cabin? Can you follow up with him?
