Two of the Great Coaches of all Time! Both in suits. In 3 weeks we play the Ellis Cougars, our biggest rival. Now be honest, would it be to much to wear a suit? Now I know you all think it would be cool but honestly would I be the laughing stalk of all coaches? I need an opinion. It has come back in the NFL. This also may be my last year as a coach, so what do you think?
UNtil THen,
Andrew How many wins for the "Bear" and how many wins for the two that surpassed him? Also Tom Landry first coached where? And how many titles did he win?
ReplyDeleteAlso what was the name of a movie made about the "Bear"?
ReplyDeleteUNtil THen,
Nunley, I think it would be great. It could be seen as a bit of a "publicity stunt" though. Parental discretion advised.
ReplyDeleteI would start out with just a tie. As the weather gets colder, slowly incorporate the jacket. I wouldn't go complete suit immediately. (See Justin's Yodeling comment)
ReplyDeleteI edited your post just to add question marks. You'll thank me later.
ReplyDeleteAndrew, Ross beat you to the new movie quote.
Adam,
ReplyDeleteI agree with Andrew of starting off with the tie. That way you can show your frustration with your team by doing an emotional "tie loosening and neck button unbuttoning".
Also notice they are both wearing hats, something to consider.
Hats? Another topic entirely.
ReplyDeleteAnd Ross, we are on for Friday...
ReplyDeleteBy the way everyone it is B's Birthday
ReplyDeleteUNtil THen
Well, if he ever read the Blog we could all wish him a happy birthday, or checked is e-mail. I hope his roommate hasn't killed him.
ReplyDeleteAdam, I've been giving this more thought. The only way I'll support you wearing a tie is if you also wear a short sleeve shirt with it. Much like your nemesis Joe Paterno, with khaki pants that are too short and black cleats or coaching shoes. You would look amazing.
Hats! Wow, I missed that one too. Good thought. You could throw the hat too. Very interesting....
ReplyDeleteBrandon needs to read the blog. The poll is over, and he won. POST! POST! POST!
ReplyDeleteTo answer Adam's trivia question:
ReplyDeleteWinningest Coaches:
1. Bobby Bowden- 368
2. Joe Paterno- 366
3. Bear Bryant- 323
Tom Landry- 1st coaching job--defensive coordinator--New York Giants. He won 2 Super Bowls, 5 NFC titles, 13 Divisional titles,
Nunalee - impressive job of getting two pics up in your post. I definitely think you should wear the suit, although I think you should not put it until right before your pregame pep talk. The kids will be thinking you will be wearing you Champion coaching shorts with spandex underneath and then you bust out with the suit. I also would love the hat but I think suit with tie...(or the classic Nunley bowtie!!!) would be such a classy and intimidating move. And you KNOW that you will get your picture in the paper which is the real reason you are a coach in the first place.
ReplyDeleteFinal Answer - Suit with tie in the color of your school.
Andrew - how are you practicing for "fastest fingers" It seems like a lot of the questions are chronological questions about music albums, etc.
ReplyDeleteIntern,
ReplyDeleteThey don't have fastest finger anymore. I'm automatically in the hot seat.
seriously??? i thought you were just had a chance in the chair. wow, this is for real. I haven't watched since regis left.
ReplyDeleteWhat do you all think about the new banner??
ReplyDeleteI love it! Good job, intern.
ReplyDeleteYeah, the millionaire thing is for real. I'm leaving with some money, for sure. Oh, and I'm serious about you being my medical/science phone-a-friend. What say ye?
I'm playing with the title, by the way. Any ideas?
ReplyDeleteI'm debating between "The Men of Edna" or "Men of Edna".
ReplyDeleteOr maybe "The Edna House Ocho" seeing as how Seth has never, not once I tell you, graced us with his presence, and how he's not in the picture.
Also, that banner would look smashing on the back of a T-shirt. Somebody green light me and it's done.
why don't you use regis philbin's thousands to get some of those for us. shoot, we can send regis one too.
ReplyDeletei love how RD has his lambs wool sweater while Andrew is in a t-shirt. I also miss his preppy haircut. That was an awesome look RD.
ReplyDeleteGreen Light Justin! Green Light! I like anything with OCHO or the starts with THE.
ReplyDeleteUNtil THen,
I LOVE THE BANNER AS WELL.
ReplyDeleteUNtil THen,
