I finally bit the bullet and got Laura a puppy this past Friday night. Following in the breed of Ross and Adam, she's a Minature Schnauzer. She is awesome. She can do cool tricks like sleeping 20 hours a day.
Justin, she makes the same grunting noises that Tiny E did when you picked him up.
Ross, we need to introduce Maggie to Lola soon.
Wake up Maggie, I think I got something to say to you...
ReplyDeleteThey call me Rod, guess why.
What's the deal with all these small dogs?!?1
ReplyDeleteSmall dogs are the best for apartments and small houses. We could get a big dog like an akita, but then we would have torn carpet and broken windows. So that's a trade off, cute, adorable puppies that take naps with you and lick your tears when you cry, or a big dog to ruin your house/apartment and lose your deposit. I don't know, tough call.
ReplyDeletewow.
ReplyDeleteRoss,
ReplyDeleteI don't care for your tone. Memphis has made you a hardened thug.
You know the Akita was possessed by the Devil himself.

East Memphis till I die, WHAT!
ReplyDeleteWhy does a post about a cute, innocent puppy have to turn to such hatred?
ReplyDeleteI just went home to take Maggie out. She was happy to see me. She wagged her little nub of a tail. It made me smile.
Everyone should have a puppy.
Andrew you are right, puppies should only bring happiness. And yes, everyone should have a puppy, whether it will grow into a large or small dog.
ReplyDeleteJD, I never meant to bring back any painful memories of your dog. I was out of line. I have never owned a devil-dog and you have, that must have been tough. For that I'm sorry.
i guess i'm just upset because my mom gave away two of my dogs...both while i was at school
ReplyDeleteto make matters worse, one of them was a bassett hound
RMD,
ReplyDeleteI have forgiven you, and since forgotten about it (thank you Scott Phillips)
I miss you. How's Skipper?
Thank you Scott Phillips indeed.
ReplyDeleteSkipper D is good. He is coming to Memphis in a couple of weeks.
He always asks if there is anything I need or that he can help us with and I always answer "no, everything is fine".
I think next time he asks I'll respond with, "Yeah, I need one of your kidneys." You know, just to mix it up a little.
I'll let you know how that goes.
Or maybe, "Lola needs one of your kidneys. It's new procedure they're trying."
ReplyDeleteThat's an even better idea. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteFrom what I remember of your dog's "dia-betis" Skipper loves animals. I wouldn't be surprised if he cut out the kidney right on the spot.
ReplyDeleteSo true JD, so true.
